
Hey there! I’m Jess — part coach, part hype woman, and your go-to guide for building wellness into a busy life.
Before Rise with Rees, I spent years in the high-pressure world of defense tech and program management. I was thriving on paper—but behind the scenes, I was burned out, stressed, and disconnected from what made me feel alive.
What many people don’t know is that my journey started back in 2008 as a fitness specialist on an Air Force base. I helped service members and their families with 5Ks, fitness programs, and wellness goals. That early experience shaped my passion for movement, heart health, and helping people feel strong and capable in their bodies.
Life has reminded me—through the loss of loved ones—that health isn’t a luxury. It’s everything. One quote shifted my entire perspective:
“A healthy person has many goals. A sick person has only one.”
So I made the change. And now, I help others do the same.
In 2020, I was striving for my idea of success. I was working insane hours, mission focused, and at my highest weight. I was miserable about my health and knew that I needed to do better.
In 2021 I found accountability partners. They pushed me to show up not only for them, but for myself. I made my health a priority and created much healthier habits.
Holistic health assessments takes into consideration not just physical health, but also mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I'll help you identify areas of imbalance and develop a plan to achieve optimal health.
Lets work together to develop healthy eating habits that will improve your overall health and wellbeing. I focus on balance and long-term sustainment. (Not crazy fads or Peel-a-pound soups!)
I will teach you stress-management techniques that will help you reduce stress and improve mental and emotional health. These can be started right away! Between busy meetings, Morning Meditations, and anytime you need.
